After you activate with the provided individual Confirmation ID (CID), be sure to enter the key you are using in “Settings” > “Update and Security” > “Activation” > “Change Product Key”.
Save the key in case you use it again when reinstalling Win 10(11) on the same device or in case you replace components.
Reboot the system and check the status in Settings > Update & Security > Activation.
In order to avoid any problems with activation in the future, additionally register activation with a digital license by creating your personal Microsoft account.
